The "Funken" Sunday celebration is a cherished tradition in southern Germany and Switzerland, where communities come together to light a bonfire and symbolically banish winter.

This year, Schuko Bad Saulgau was able to make an even greater contribution to the festivities by repurposing pallets originally intended for wood disposal containers from metal sheet production. These pallets help to burn brightly, adding to the warmth and spectacle of the "Funken" fire.
