"Schuko Bad Saulgau receives Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Award for ARS extraction system
Schuko Bad Saulgau has successfully taken part in the Environmental Technology Award in Category III: Technologies for Emission Reduction, Treatment and Separation with the new ARS extraction system and came in third.
Together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA, Schuko has received one of the most prestigious industry awards in Germany. Franz Untersteller (Environment Minister Baden-Württemberg) presented the award in the evening in the Schwabenlandhalle.
The Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy Baden-Württemberg has awarded the Environmental Technology Prize for outstanding and innovative products in environmental technology for the sixth time. The award went to products that make a significant contribution to resource efficiency and environmental protection and are close to market launch or have been on the market for no more than two years. Companies with their registered office or branch in Baden-Württemberg are eligible to participate. The prize money went to four categories: "Energy efficiency", "Material efficiency", "Emission reduction, processing & separation" and "Measurement and control technology, industry 4.0".
"Through resource-efficient handling of scarce raw materials, companies at Baden-Württemberg's high-tech location are not only helping to protect the environment. This can bring advantages in international competition and is therefore also economically attractive. With the Environmental Technology Award, we give innovative companies the opportunity to present their resource-efficient products and processes," explained Environment Minister Franz Untersteller, who, together with the specialist jury, selected the nominated companies and award winners from the applications."
